room to room expansion gap

another question:

I'm tiling the kitchen and utility room (on concrete slab) which are connected by a doorway. Same tile and pattern.

Do I need an expansion gap in the threshold of the doorway between the two rooms? The longest distance from room to room is about 18'. Utility room is approx. 6'x12' and the kitchen is about 12'x12'. So the entire "square" is 18'x12' with a wall and doorway between the two.

Hope this makes sense, I tried to search for the info prior.

You shouldnt need movement joints unless the floor will exposed to a lot of sunlight or high moisture conditions.
