tile removal

Wanted to upgrade the kitchen,I was't thinking of changing the tile floor but my wife has a different idea. Is there a specific method of removing the tile without getting involved with the radiant heat? I can imagine it's not going to be easy, but we were hoping it's possible as the tile flows through the kitchen, dining area, and foyer.

What do you know about the current installation of the heat system and the tile? Is it a hydronic system or electric cables or mats? Was the heating system covered over with slc, or a lightweight concrete, or a mud bed? Was an isolation membrane used under the tile?
