Removing Dried Adhesive Between Tiles?

DH walked on the tile floor I installed before the adhesive was dry. It oozed up between the tiles (Yes, I told him to stay off it. No, he didn't listen ).

Is there a simple way to remove this adhesive so the grout will fill the spaces neatly?

Is there a simple way to train DH?

Thank You!!!

Adhesive, from a bucket or thinset from a powder that you mixed with water?

waling on them would not only cause purging from under the tile but also shift the position/plane of the tile and they would need to be reset.

A utility knife will clean out the joints if you didn't fix them as you reset the tiles that were walked upon

Yes, train the DW to make sure snacks, beer and the remote are nowhere near where DW will set tile Beer 4U2

From a DH perspective...we can't be trained...we can only be tolerated.

Okay, looks like I know how I'm spending the day tomorrow! I'll give it a second shot, but if DH does this again -- he'll be the one getting shot !
