Uneven concrete floor

I am trying to lay tile on an interior basement concrete floor on the lower level of my home. While preparing I noticed that the floor is uneven. Using a laser level, I've found that the lowest point is 7/8" lower than the highest point. What is the best way to even out the floor before I begin tiling.

I am very glad your basement floor is made of concrete, is inside and in the lower part of your house.

A tiled floor does NOT have to be level.....just as flat as possible. The spec is generally; "flat within 1/4" in 10 ft. and 1/16" in 12" of the required plane".

If the floor goes up and down, there are many floor patching products around. Be should it's a Portland based product and read all the directions.
