replacing single tiles

i just bought a house and it has 12" tile throughout. we have a few individual tiles that are broken, from i assume someone dropping heavy things on them at some point. i would assume one would use mastic to install the new tiles, but just wanted to make sure. and is there anyway to get grout matched to the color that is used everywhere else, bc im sure it has stained a little bit from a couple years of traffic. thanks.

I think if you have multiple cracked tiles, you have more issues. The subfloor/joists are probably not strong enough. Also, you don't use mastic, you would use a thinset that you mix with water.

No way to match grout color exactly. You will have to get a color swatch and see which was ois closest.
