filling th gap between a tile and a carpet

Hi

I bought a house recently. The bathroom has got tiles and the landing area got the carpet. but the gap between the tiles and the carpet is not filled which is showing the floorboards underneath. what is the best way to fill that gap?

I would install a transition strip made of wood that will cover all this. If that is not an option for some reason, you would want a color matching caulk.

it may be possible to stretch the carpet up to the tile. no transition needed. this is what i have done, and it looks/works great.
