removing wall tile

I am trying to remove two existing rows of ceramic tile from my bathroom wall above the sink (it is a backsplash). How do I do it to begin with and when I do, will I totally destroy the wall? If so, any suggestions how to rebuild it? Thanks!

Hi, you need to let us know what the wall material is? then we will be able to tell you what damage will be caused by removing the said tiles, I hope this helps a little, Handyman
