Wall tile over stucco

Wall tile over stucco
I live in sunny Florida and want to add a ceramic tile mural to my covered patio. The wall is concrete block with a rough stucco finish. What do I need to do to permanently attach the tiles to the stucco?

This was over 6 years ago and the user has not returned since.
Is your stucco painted? If so, this needs to come off in order to have a good bond. If it's some plain ole portland based stucco and unpainted, you could use a modified thinset to adhere the tiles.

Tile Over South Florida Stucco
5 years ago I put 150ft of 6"x6" tile across the front of my house (over rough stucco) as a decorative border. House is 25yrs old and had been painted 3-4 times.
1st) I pressure cleaned the stucco.
2nd) I attached the tiles with Prower Grab "Exterior Heavy Duty Construction Adhesive".
3rd) Because the tiles were pretty much flat against the wall I could only grout in between the tiles.
I caulked the top and bottom edges with Polyseamseal.
After 5 years it still looks great and no loose tiles.
