shine travertine

I just installed new travertine tile throughout my house. Beautiful, but not as shiny as I would like it to be (I bought low-end travertine). If I want to increase the shine, can I buff it with my right angle grinder and a buffing pad? If so, do I do it dry or with some kind of shiner? Help!!!!!
