store floor

Can I scrape glued carpet off of commercial tile, sand the glue off, then buff & polish the tile? Are there alternatives?

sctt_glnn, is this vct or ceramic tile? We had a post a month or two ago. Bathroom had glued down carpet, he got it off, can't recall how. I'll check and see if I still have it in my list.

scraping may scratch the tile, so if you can scrap without causing to many grooves, yes. You will be able to sand the tile, and wax.

Might want to get that tile tested for asbestos before you go sanding.
