Stenciling on Ceramic Tile
#1
Hi,
I have nice white tile on the wall in my ALL WHITE kitchen. The tile is in perfect condition so I don't want to replace it. Is it possible to stencil or paint the tile-- I would really like to add some color in my kitchen. Thank you.

Hi Carolyn,
I seem to recall a similar question a month or so ago. Have you tried the search?
"Stenciling" in the ceramic business usually occurs off-site, meaning the tile(s) must be removed, but common garden variety stencils could be applied to your backsplash.
Another option is to add plant-on ceramic embellishments to the existing tiles. These are commonly called "spotters." A friend of mine in Australia makes them (among many others). His name is Uri, and you can access his site at: http://www.ausglaze.com.au
Just an idea.
