Protecting new tile floor?

What do people recommend when moving a big and heavy new fridge across a 2 week old tile floor? What do people usually put down to cover it and prevent any scratching etc? Just curious what people do? Thanks.

The fridge is on wheels, so I'd put down rather thick corrugated cardboard. I am assuming ceramic type tile rather than linoleum.

Cardboard may help, but I keep a few sheets of masonite and rosin paper in the garage just for this purpose.

The HO said it's a new tile floor, not sheet vinyl, so the fridge is likely in another room. The wheels only allow forward/backward rolling so a hand cart may be needed to go thru the doorway sideways. Masonite, 1/4 ply or even cardboard is a good idea. Be very careful when lowering the appliance that it doesn't slam down.
