Wonderboard Strength
#1
Is Wonderboard strong enough to hold a refrigerator? Or should I move my fridge into the hall until I get the ceramic tile laid and grouted?

Hey Kitchen Girl, See you're still at it.
If the Wonder board (and what's under it) won't support the fridge, neither will the tile when you get it installed. The tiles will depend on what's under them for a good deal of their strength.
But yes, move the fridge out, and leave it out for about a week after you've completed the grouting. Your new floor will have achieved about 75 percent of its cured strength by then. Full strength is achieved in 4 wks.
You do know the proper way to install the backer board, don't you?
