I am planning on putting tile in a small 2nd floor bath, approximately 20 sg/ft. While browsing through the giant home improvement stores, I noticed that most of there floor tiles were rated as class 1, or "standard". Is class 1 or "standard" grade good for a small master bath?

We just had someone start installing ceramic tile in our kitchen as a backsplash. We are having it installed on the wallspace between the bottom of the kitchen cabinets and the top of the kitchen counter. He has all the tile on, but not grouted yet. It just doesn't look right to me in some places. I want to point out what doesn't look right to him, but want to be able to suggest a better way to do it. My question is how to make nice finished edges when the top tile needs to be cut. For example, he started to tile from the counter to the cabinets. When he got to the cabinets full pieces of tile wouldn't fit, therefore, he cut them. That's ok for right under the cabinets, but the cabinets don't go all the way to the window we have right in the middle. Therefore, when he cut some of the pieces, part of the tile is under the cabinet, but the other half of the piece of tile is not. The cabinets don't go all the way to the window. There is about a 5 inch space between the cabinets and the window. How could he have done that differently so that we don't have a cut edge as the top piece? Also, the tile we have are a little wavy to give it a more "rustic" look. He put the tile close to the counter backsplash. Shouldn't he have left more room for grout? Since the tile is wavy it doesn't match up with the counter backplash evenly. Should he have done that differently, for example, use bull nose pieces and have the finished edge even with the counter backsplash?
