Hot to stick the tile vertically in my starecase

Hello,

I am new poster from Jakarta, Indonesia.

My staircase porclean/tile was off. How can I stick it again to the floor vertically. Should I put cement again so that it can stick to the cemented brick?

thanks for any helps.

Frank

Welcome to the forums! Construction methods vary from locale to locale, so we aren't very versed at Indonesian codes, etc. Maybe if you posted a couple of pictures of what you have, we can see what you see. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...your-post.html
There must be proper preparation prior to installation of tile, especially in a vertical position. We'll have to look at what you have to determine what route you should take.

If this is the only tile loose, I would clean both the riser area and the back of the tile and apply a mixture of modified thinset to the back of the tile(buttered with a 1/4" x1/4" trowel) and press it in place firmly with a slight twisting motion. You can grout it after it dries.
