shower pan liner

Looking at various liners: PVC 30 mill and 40 mill or CPE. Some of the criticism of PVC is it will eventually get brittle. CPE limited suppliers. May be difficult to get.
Any thoughts PVC and thickness or CPE? Shower is small, measures 4'x4'.

I've used both. Over time the pvc can dry out and crack. If I can choose it would be the cpe.
