I have been requested to remove a bathtub and drop a showerpan below floor level and install tile sloped to center drain. No dam raised threshold. I have never done anytile work before but need to know what procedure to take to contruct sunken shower pan and how low should i go below floor level and etc.. I want to try to do the complete job myself without subbing out to a tile man.
Never done a shower pan, i've been to the web page on installing shower pan and seems pretty simple. any more info would be greatly appreciated.
would like a time frame also so that i can figure cost.
