When do I lay Baseboard

Im redoing my bathroom.. I was originally going to leave the baseboards, put

down the underlay 1/2 inch ply, tile and put some shoe molding.

Something then told me to rip the nice baseboards out that were already there.

Im wondering now when I put the new baseboards in. On top of the plywood?

On top of the tiles? In between the tiles and wall? I really have on idea. Can

someone please explain..

On top of the tile would be the norm. Baseboard would be the last part of the job. Vanity and everything should go in before, except maybe toilet.

I don't see anything about cement tile board or a membrane though. You don't want to lay tile directly on plywood.

Finish the floor making sure to leave a gap at the bottom of the wall, door casing, install vanity, then install the baseboard.
Toilet goes in last.

You can lay tile directly on plywood, but it is not the best way to do it. Thinset, CBU, thinset, tile has a better chance of success.
