fixing water spotting on marble floor tile (bathroom)

hi guys. quick question. in our master bath is some older, marble tile. it has a lot of water spotting of a handful of tiles. I guess since it wasn't sealed? (also has some grout that has cracked and/or given way, but that is another issue).

what do I need to do to deal with the water spotting? is there a reliable creme or anything? I have read mixed reviews about Marbacream and also Renue. or do I need to buff this out? if the latter, is there a rental tool I need to get?

photos attached. not sure how helpful.

any info is appreciated. thanks,
brendan

I am wondering if these are water spots or etch marks. If acidic cleaners are used, such as acidic toilet bowl cleaners, stray drops would likely etch the marble. Marble is easily etched by acids.
