Knocking down a wall.
Would it be okay to knock down this wall from the dinning room to the kitchen or would you have to see the studs to be able to determine that?
Is there a way to find out if a wall can be knock down before I take down the drywall and paneling?

You would first need to determine if it is load bearing or not. My guess is that it IS bearing. I would enlist the services of a structural engineer to give blessings before starting such a project. They will be on site, and we aren't.
