Leveling two floor heights to each other?

We are about to move into a house here in Florida.

Off the master bedroom, there used to be a lanai, which the previous owner closed in to make it an extension of the bedroom. The old lanai floor is tiled, the bedroom is an old carpet that will replace prior to moving in. We want to carpet both rooms with the same new carpet, however the lanai floor is approximately 3" lower that the bedroom floor.

I'm looking for advise on how to get the tiled lanai floor to the same level as the bedroom floor? The lanai room is 9 x 12'. Both rooms are on cement slabs

No seeing it, I'll stab in the dark. One way to do it is create a sleeper system with 2 1/4" band boards attached around the lanai and sleepers of the same size, nailed to the bands and glued to the concrete with a product like pL 8x. Lay 3/4" Advantech on top of the sleepers and fasten with 2" decking screws. This is assuming there is no water infiltration to the former lanai. That is a separate issue.
