thank you so much for your speedy reply! I just researched the grout colorant on the website that you included in your reply and it says "great for glazed tile or porous tile that has been sealed." We bought our tiles from Lowe's and they are porous tiles for the bathroom. BUT, we laid the tile and grout, but we have not sealed our floor yet because we thought we might have to dig all of the grout out because the color was so disasterous. Should we still use the colorant kit if our tiles aren't sealed?? I hope my question doesn't sound silly, we're new at this!

Hello Amelia,

The grout colorants are like paint. You paint the grout joints but not the tiles. If your tiles are soft, it would be a good idea to seal them before applying the colorant to the grout. That way the smears will wipe off the tiles easier. Go to the Aqua-mix site and wander around a bit. They do a very good job of explaining the process. They make sealers, too.
