stone tile sealer
i have some of that irregular stone-like tile wall that will be exposed to water. there are slight gaps between the tile (big enough to slide a paper through, but not much bigger) that i'd like to water proof. i see some tile sealers at Lowes/Home Depot 32oz for about $50 bout not sure if it would be good enough to seal a gaps 1-2mm wide. anyone have any experience with this or recomendations on what to use? Thanks!

Thanks market, I can grout but I can just imagine how hard it would be to grout the irregular surface and to clean up, was wondering if there was a simple transparent 'paint-on' sealer that fills gaps

What is behind the tile wall? There should be plastic or roofing felt, then cement board. A good coat of RedGard over the cement board can be substituted for the vapor barrier behind it. This method pretty much waterproofs the wall.
Sealers work over porous surfaces but will not span gaps to seal them. If you post a pic or two we might better understand what you are dealing with - http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html
