I JUST HAD MARBLE FLOORS LAYED AND I AM HAVING A PROBLEM CLEANING THEM.WHAT DO I NEED TO USE TO GIVE IT A SHINEAND TO REMOVE SOME OF THE GROUT THAT IS STILL ON IT?

I think you might also check out the Aquamix products. And you might even consider hiring a pro. Marble is a delicate stone.

What can I do to change the color of my terrazzo floor so that it blends with the Mexican tiles in the rest of the house? Flooring is in excellent condition, it's thinset over 4" of concrete slab; it's just not the right choice for my mediterranean house. Can we safely cover it with tile or wood? Am seeking an alternative to demolishing the floor, which covers about 1200 sf. A technique which would create more of a solid color would help - it's emerald green chips in grey grout with aluminum grids (18"). Read More

I am helping my daughter redo an old apartment and I need help with the ceramic tile job. The present floor is 1 inch thick solid wood which is okay. I plan to screw a 3/4 inch thick construction type particle board over that and then go with the tile. It appears that particle board is not the best choice but plywood is hard to come by over here.
