We are installing a stone walk way.
What is the best method to use to get it relatively level.
The stone is of various thicknesses. We used a base of stone, stone dust and sand. and are planning to fill in between the stone with decorative red stone.
Thanks, Anita

Hi Anita,

What you are doing is a sort of "trial and error" thing. Use a straightedge (board) to level things out as you go. Sometimes you'll need to add sand underneath, and sometimes you'll have to remove it. It would be the same if you were using cement mortar.

I suppose the pros gain a little with experience. You're just going to have to take it a little slower.
