replacing wall panel

I'm wondering if it would be easy to replace this damaged wall to match the surrounding wall. If there's anyway I could actually find this type of panel.

Looks like painted paneling. Probably the main thing is to find paneling with the same groove spacing.

It's an older home not sure I'd be able to find the exact right ones
Any recommendations on what I should do???

Paneling hasn't changed much in the past several decades. I would get a strip of ribbon, a piece of string or strip of paper. Line up one end of your string with the edge of the panel. Then mark the string at each groove. Take the string shopping and you can hold it up to paneling in the store to see if the grooves match up. Or if you're feeling smart you can just measure the locations of the grooves and measure in the store.
