Grout on Ceramic tile

A few months ago we had ceramic tile put into our kitchen and foyer.....the grout changes color when it gets wet....does that mean that it was not properly sealed?

Just about everything changes colour when wet..including grout..sealer helps..but it's not perfect...though if it's sealed, water should take a while to soak into the joint. It can't hurt to seal it again..and maybe once a year after that.

I am not sure if I made it clear in the question I posted that the tile we installed is highly glazed. That is why we used unsanded grout. We did not want to scratch the tiles. Thanks! Aileen D.

I AM ABOUT TO TILE MY BATHROOM FLOOR. THE SLAB HAS SOME GROOVES AND DOESNT LOOK EVEN. IS IT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY THAT THE SLAB IS EVEN BEFORE I START TO LAY TILE? WHAT ARE MY OPTIONS IF YES?
