I know there are literally hundreds of grout questions here, but to be honest, I dont have the time to read them all (I have to pretend like I am working today). My question is this...I had a guy lay my tile for me (12x12 ceramic floor tile in 2 bathrooms) however, I am responsible for grouting. I printed off the grouting steps on this website, but I wanted to see if anyone has any "tricks of the trade"? In terms of shortcuts or grouting around toilets (yes, the toilets are out and will be replaced) or grouting around baseboards, etc. Thanks!!

Hi SB,

We re-set the toilets before we grout. Then we push grout under the base of the thing all the way around and wash it as if it were another joint. When everything sets up, the toilet is on sound footing and will never rock.

I'll leave room here for Adanac or someone else.

John
