Does any one know any tips on how to cleanup ceramic tile? is there any household products that will do the job or will i be forced to buy the special cleaners in the store?

Cleaning tile

White vinegar/water solution is an excellent cleaner for ceramic floor tile.

Ceramic Tile Cleaning & Grout Sealer

We built our home 2 years ago and have ceramic tile throughout the house with exception of the bedrooms. Our tiles are approximately 14"x14" tiles and light in color. The Grout is also light. I am interested in finding out what is the best cleaner to use in maintaining the floor. Our grout has also gotten dark in a few places. When scrubbed it comes out like new. I don't have time to scrub each tile though, I'd be scrubing for a year. Someone has mentioned grout sealer. I mentioned grout sealer to our builders company who installed the tile. They said that it would yellow. So here are my questions? Can I safely seal my grout to keep out staining? and if so with what product? Where can I buy it? What should I use to wash my floors on a regular basis? Where can I buy it? Has anyone found a good scrub mop? If so where can I buy it? Thanks in advance!! Read More
