Backsplash gap at bottom against countertop

Older home, I had to maintain a level line from one end to the other and countertop is L shaped. Started at the end of the long side of L and found out that the gap between the counter and bottom row was 1/8” on the starting end and a1/2” on the other end of the short side of L shape. Pretty difficult to fill with tile so was wondering what my options would be to finish that gap off by the counter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Shim up your countertop in back where needed by removing the fasteners and slipping shims between the cabinet and countertop. Otherwise you will have to scribe the bottom edge of your backsplash to match the countertop.
