Underlayment over plywood

Can't use traditional backerboard as I only have 1/8' clearance between wood floor & new ceramic floor.

Are there any good products out there thin enough that are easy to use as an underlayment?

Thanks

Are you talking 1/8" in height? If so, Ditra might be a good alternative. That said, the easiest way to mess up a tile job is to be concerned about height of the finished floor.

Keep in mind we haven't even talked about whether the thickness of the existing plywood is sufficient or whether the structure beneath the floor is as well.
