I'm considering purchasing an old home where the wall tiles on the kitchen walls have been painted. Is there any product/technique which can be used to remove this paint, or will I have to consider retiling the walls? Thanks for whatever help/hope anyone can offer.

We just purchased a home and the tile color in the bathroom is really too bright for us. I read in a home improvement book that it is possible to paint over ceramic tiles with tile paint instead of removing them all and redoing it. However, when I went to a local home improvement store the sales guy said it doesn't work very well and the paint doesn't last. Has anyone tried this before? The bathroom as tile on the walls, in the shower and on the floor. Thanks.Read More
