I want to tile my patio which is concrete now. What kind of tile do I need and can I place the tile over the concrete slab already down?

If you are in Southern Cal, you can use just about any tile that looks good. If you're in the the northern part of the state you should choose something that is frost-proof.

You can install the tile directly to the slab if: it is clean and free from cracks, and it doesn't hold water after a rain.

Hand Painting Tiles

Please Help, We have bought a new house with only one full bathroom and we decided to take on the task of redoing it. We have decided to go with a tumbled marble tile that has ended up being much more expensive than we thought. We wanted to use hand painted tiles at the top as a border to bring color to the tile. We have found this to be extremely expensive and at least 45 days return time neither of which we can afford. I was hoping to use one of the tiles and Hand paint it myself to save money. This is tumbled marble. What should I use and how do I ensure that it keeps? Is this even possible or recommended? What are the best products? Can the painted tiles be sealed like the other tiles? Grout and cleaning

I have just finished installing ceramic tile. I have noticed that after the drying of the grout there is like a sandy testure coming out all the time. This happens even when you just rub on it, so it is all over the floor. Why is this happening, how dom I fix it?? Also can you tell me the correct way to clean the tiles after installing.
