Grout selection
I am getting ready to do some tiling. Most of my spacing is 1/16 but one area is a mosaic tile (on a mesh with little dots of glue holding it together) that is 1/8 to 3/16. I was going to use non-sanded grout but I am afraid of the gap size. I visited 2 different big box stores and they both carried a type of dry cement grout that says it can be used for joints up to 1/2 inch. Would I be better off just sticking with the usual non-sanded grout? Can you tell from the tile selection what the gap and grout type is?

I would grout this with non sanded grout if grouting the rest of the field tile with non sanded. You will see a difference in the finished texture of sanded grout vs non sanded grout.
