Bathroom floor tile prep

So, bath is gutted. Im trying to plan for floor tile. The tile is 4 ft x 8 pieces so which will run across without any staggered seams. Bath floor is so small 6x4 that there is only a 3ft section where full tiles will be visible.

After removing old tile, most of the paper backing is stuck to the floor (see pics).
do I need to remove it completely? If so and suggestions?

2nd: the floor goin towards shower pan slopes down 1/4 inch. Should this be leveled prior or can the depth be filled with tile set?

btw I do plan on hiring a tile guy, but want to have it prepped as best as possible.
cheers!

Is this a concrete slab or a wood framed floor. I can't tell from the pictures.

The floor is a concrete slab. Im guessing the black is some sort of glue? The paper is the backing of previous tile.
