Install Armrest in Tile wall in bath tub

The wall above my bathtub is installed with tiles. I am going to install armrest/handle for safety. So, I need to drill holes on tile wall. How to drill holes on tile to prevent from break the tile or dropping tiles? What tools I need to have? I worry that if using impact drill may break the tile, because it looks too powerful. Do I need an impact drill, or some special drill tools or some liquid solution to cover the tile before drilling? Thanks

I use a diamond drill to drill into tile. I have a helper dribble water over the area as I drill to keep the dust down and cool the bit and tile. If you have trouble with the bit sliding around I use a punch or chisel held at an angle so you get the sharp corner to chip off a bit of the glazing.

Is diamond drill is used for drill hole in concrete too?
Are you using normal electric drill or impact drill?

Yes, you can drill concrete with a diamond drill though for small holes most often a carbide tipped impact drill is used.
