Metal edging in corners to hide cuts on wall tile
I've used Schluter metal edging before when tiling but only next to empty wall space so you don't see the edge of the tile but you do see the cut. I am tiling one wall in a powder room and was wondering if a metal edging can be used to hide the tile cuts in the corners. In other words, the edging would be screwed into the side wall not the tiled wall.
Separate questions (haven't decided between 2 tiles yet):
If I have a 36.25" wall and use 12" tiles will it be possible to 1/16" spacers and not have to make cuts except at the top and bottom of the wall? Is that cutting it too close? If I don't need to make cuts horizontally, the above question is moot for this size tile.
If I have 24" wide tile and 36.25", I assume I should do 24" tile in the center and ~6" cut tile on each side?

1/16 joints are possible but tight, king of a personal choice, personally I keep mine at 1/8".
For a 36" space you would do (2) 18" pieces, always keep them as big and similar in size as possible!
