Just had a new floor in kitchen laid over concrete floor. Tiles are black and I wanted black grout. It turned out to be charcoal grey and I want to ask about putting another layer of grout over the grey. It is only three days old.

Hi everyone! I am new here.[b] I am disabled and hired a licensed contractor to remove a soaking tub and convert to a walk in shower.[/b] The threshold that he built is already crumbling, and the cement that he added over wire on the walls did not go to the end of the drywall, so wooden studs from behind the wall are still showing on both sides. Additionally, [b]when he was tiling the back wall, he made many pattern mistakes then walked off the job and said he was quitting when I asked him to fix the errors, because, he said, I was a "perfectionist". [/b] Even the floor tiles on the new shower floor, have a perceptible by eye, wave, from high [inches 1-2] to low [not touching the ruler 3-6] then high again resting on tile [inches 7-8 inches], and the thinset is so heavy that there is no room left for grout in between many of the tiles (grout will be black). I am waiting for the owner to get back to me before contacting the state licensing board. Does anyone have any advice? [b]Do I need to rip this out and start over?[/b] I really need a walk in shower asap. Thank you!
