My wife and i just purchased a pedestal sink, and i will probably have to secure the column to the tile floor. Is there a special tool/bit i should use so as not to crack the tile?. Maybe i can just use a sharp drill bit?.

Also, i will need to cut tile to place around the baseboard in the bathroom. I would think the rental center has a small tool to do this project, rather then renting wet tile cutter.?

Thanx.

You just set the pedestal on the tile and use a little latex caulking to hold it in place.

Yes, you can usually cut tile for baseboards with a tile cutter.
