ceramic floor tile

I had ceramic tile put down 12x12 inch tile on the floor. When I step on a certain area of the floor I can hear a crunch or noise like a loose area. I watched the man put the tile down and I know that he glued all the tile to the slab so I cannot understand what this noise or sound is that we hear. My husbank thinks the tile is not glued down right, could that be true. The tile man use the tile set glue etc. that was correct for the job and there is absolutely nothing but concrete, glue then tile and grout.
I am at a loss as to why these 2 or 3 tiles are making this sound when you walk on them?

Hi Bev,
You have loose tiles!!! The most common cause is not enough thin-set under those particular tiles or someone stepped on them before they were completely dry. They will need to be pulled up , re-set, and re-grouted. I know you don't want to hear that, but it is the only way to fix it correctly.
