Question Tile backsplash removal

I am going to attempt to remove a ceramic tile kitchen backsplash that was installed directly onto drywall. It appears they used adhesive to attach the tiles, it was a poor do it yourself job. Anyone have any suggestions as to the best technique to remove these? I don't care if I mess up the drywall board they are mounted on.

Thanks

Yep get a demolition flatbar (Wal-mart $5) and a hammer. Dont forget to wear safety glasses and gloves and go to town. Just tap and pry it out and more than likely you will damage the drywall.
