Tile and door hanging

I am about to tile the bathroom in my unfinished basement. Should I hang the doors first or wait until after I tile so the jamb will rest on the tiles. I am laying the tile on concrete slab and using a thinset mortar with 8 by 8 tiles. Rough opening of door is common height of 82". I will shim the jambs to keep them off the slab somewhat.

Any help appreciated.

Hi
If you lay the tile first, you won't have to cut around the door jams later....but it really doesnt matter.

Thanks

I would rather not cut a jamb unless necessary so I will tile it first and hang the door. Hung many a door but never layed any tile in my life. First for everything.

If you hang the door first you may find that you have to trim the door down later to clear the tile. I'd do the tile first but you can do it either way.
