We are beginning a new home and are considering flooring options. Is there any reason that treazzo floors aren't being used much? Are they easy to care for?

Yes they are very easy to care for....but are very costly to install...and is a very messy installation.

solids epoxy as mortar and grout?

I am getting ready to install 1" mosaic tile on the floors and tub surround of my bathroom. The face of the tile is on clear sheets of contact paper so I can just flip it over to install. I read somewhere that it's easier to use 100% solids epoxy as both asdhesive and grout for mosaics rather than using thinset and then grouting. Any thoughts on this? thanks for any advice, mRead More

I grouted my new ceramic tile floors and the grout dried lighter than the swatch indicated... I mean a lot lighter! Except for the areas that I had to go back over and smooth out - those areas dried the color of the swatch. I am very confused. Any ideas what caused this? Is there a haze on the grout itself? Is there anything I can do to get it back to the proper color?Read More
