tile flooring
My house sits on a slab. I have a tile floor in the bathroom which is embedded in some type of masonry. I tried to chisel the tile off but I'm having little success. Is there an easier way to do this?

Sounds like a old style mud install. Unfortunately these type of installs were meant to last. The only two ways I've ever seen them come up is with a sledge hammer or power chisel.
I read were one guy got under the mortar bed with a pry bar to help break up the tile and mortar.
