Cutting tile

When using a tile cutter which is the way to place the tile face down away for the wheel or the other way? Thanks Jeaie

You will want to have the glazed side up towards the wheel. The wheel is like a glass cutter and what you are doing is scoring the glazed portion so that when the cutter snaps the tile it is a clean snap.
