Unhappy Wallboarder Adhesive

Hello. I have a self adhesive wall boarder that I am putting up in my daughters room. It has a real strong smell to it. I can not get a real answer from the manufacture regarding the adhesive so here is my question. Are self adhesive wall boarders toxic or nontoxic? Do I need to worry about the fumes affecting my child? I have done my best to ventilate the room to get the smell and fumes from the adhesive out of the room before I will allow my daughter to sleep in their. What else can I do to ventilate the room or am I worrying about nothing?

i'd be very surprised if it was toxic and/or harmful. it's probably just stinky, like many things such as new carpet or paint. eventually, i'd think, the smell will go away.
