wallpaper border in an rv
I would like to replace a border in an rv. I have a couple questions. Can I put a new border over the old border? The new border is pre-pasted vinyl. If not, how can I safely remove the old border without damaging the rv wall which I believe is also a vinyl. Thanks for any suggestions.

It's never good to paper over paper, simply because you never know how well the first is on there. If you are lucky, you can peel the surface off the backing then wet the backing and get it off. Try a small area. Next would be to sand the surface and try to get some water penetration, usually it will change color if it is absorbing water. If not, steam is the final possibility, messy but usually works on difficult papers.
