sheryl, I assume you mean an Asian textile or some natural material. I have no links that deal with these materials but have hung to much of it. The best tip I have is to use Roman Adhesives Heavy Duty Clear. This is one of the few glues that will not damage natural material...Mike

Sheryl, The biggest problem you have is to avoid getting that "clear" paste on the the front of the paper. depending on whether it's "real string cloth" or imitation can determine the difficulty. With real string cloth, you'll need the clear adhesive, but imitation string, this is usually pre-pasted and much easier to work with. It also looks just as real as the expensive string. Keep in mind with the Real string cloth, the strings are continuous and once "upset/pulled-away", they don't lay back down.
