Wall mounting drumsticks

Hello all DIY experts here!

I am a drummer for fun and also a traveler, so when I get to far away cities and I get a chance to go to a Hard Rock cafe, I like to bring back a pair of drumsticks with the name of that city on it for souvenir purpose.

But Im tired of seeing them sit on top of drawers. So I said, lets hang them up on the wall!

But here's my problem.. I have no clue how I could do that.

I have included a picture of how I would like the drumstick to be "aligned"

I would like them place in a X patern on their side

Also, I don't want to have to cut them or modify them.

So has anyone here, has any idea how this could be accomplished?

Why not just tie them with a string and hang them

Welcome to the forums.

You can also use hot glue to hold the sticks together. The sticks could be separated in the future if required.
