Hi, have wallpapered many times using conventional wallpaper that you paste and hang, Have now been tasked with hanging new style paste the wall wallpaper. Not a problem in the application, just the preparation. The existing old 'paper comes off a treat but there is lining paper underneath with a lint like/peach fuzz texture now the original wallpaper has been removed. Please advise the best way to prepare, should I wipe with water and vinegar to remove the 'lint' - should I then seal with water/PVA (would love recommendations of ratios if so)? I would like to keep the existing lining paper (even though it was hung vertically) to save time. (First post- be gentle with me please). Thanks in advance
